Mining Maintenance Management Course Library

The Mining Maintenance Management Course is available to SME member organizations in carrying out maintenance management training. The 22 PowerPoint presentations explain strategies, techniques, methodologies, information use, technologies and procedures necessary for effective maintenance management.

Each course topic is cross-referenced with explanatory Word files that provide useful background information for training presentations.

Although maintenance personnel are the primary training target, operations personnel and staff departments are urged to take advantage of this training. Maintenance needs their help.

There are really no world class mining maintenance organizations. Nor is maintenance a ‘stand-alone’ activity that can deliver reliable equipment single-handedly. Rather, world-class maintenance is only possible when mining managers create an environment in which all mining personnel understand the maintenance discipline and successfully deliver well-informed support and cooperation.
