SME St Louis Section Members,
The American Institute of Professional Geologists (AIPG) will be hosting their annual meeting in October of this year in St Louis, MO. The meeting will be held October 4-7, 2025 at the Doubletree Hotel and Conference Center in Chesterfield, MO. AIPG National, along with the AIPG-MO Section will be offering SME members the opportunity to participate and attend this year's annual meeting at the AIPG member price.
The theme for this years event is "The Gateway for Tomorrow's Geologist". There will be a special emphasis on mining and minerals resources of Missouri during this year's conference.
Tentative Field Trips include:
Doe Run Underground Tour - Viburnum, MO
Holcim Cement - Bloomsdale, MO
Specialty Granules - Annapolis, MO
MO Cobalt Mine - Fredericktown
St Francis Mountains, including Elephant Rocks, Johnson Shut-Ins, etc.
