    On behalf of the Colorado School of Mines, Energy, Mining, and Construction Industry Safety (EMCIS) Program, I'd like to announce that we have spots available in an upcoming MSHA Train the Trainer course, to be held in Golden, CO March 29-31, 2022. This is a three-day course that provides participants with the necessary information to become an approved MSHA Part 48 Instructor. The course will cover MSHA regulations, adult learning theory, record keeping, training program development, instructional techniques, and evaluation. 

    At the end of the course you will be provided with an evaluation letter to be submitted to your MSHA district along with your MSHA application. Review and approval comes from your MSHA District Office; the Colorado School of Mines EMCIS program cannot verify the trainers and does not guarantee MSHA approval. 

    The EMCIS program has been offering Part 48 training, Train the Trainer, and other professional development courses for more than 20 years, supported by NIOSH grants. The program uses subject matter experts and professionals with industry experience to deliver high quality training. Follow the link below for more information or to register:
