Hello SME Outreach Resources community group,

The call for nominations for recognition awards for outstanding individual and group achievements in the minerals industry will remain open until June 1, 2016. Please self-nominate or nominate other individuals or groups who have made a significant contribution to minerals & mining education and outreach in their area.

• MEC Leadership Award (an individual)
• MEC SME Organization Recognition Award (an organization within SME)
• MEC SME Student Chapter Award
• MEC Partnership Appreciation Award (an organization outside SME)

 Award winners will be recognized and honored at the 2017 Annual Conference & Expo. For more information and to place your nomination, please visit www.smenet.org/membership/awards/minerals-education-coalition-awards.

Please make nominations for the MEC Awards and send this information to others in the industry so that they can also make nominations of those in and outside of SME who are making a difference through education and outreach.
