Thank you for your interest in local outreach efforts to educate about the importance of mining and minerals in everyday life! By working together, we can help to shape the public's perception of mining!
On our October conference call, we talked about the resources available at

I wanted to follow up with details on the resources found at the "Funding" link on that page.
SME provides grants to SME Sections for approved activities, including outreach. If you are representing a SME Section, apply for a grant to pay for a specific outreach program! Grant applications are due August 1 and awarded the following year. Start thinking now about the projects you'd like to work on next year!
