I am pleased to announce the upcoming Mining & Exploration Division's Richard E. Gertsch Memorial Silent Auction at the SME Annual Conference & Expo 2018. The Mining & Exploration Division has given three to five scholarships annually for many years. These scholarships are needed to attract and retain the most promising students <g class="gr_ gr_90 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Grammar multiReplace" id="90" data-gr-id="90">to</g> the mining and geology fields. We depend on your generous donations to supply us with the auction items needed to bolster our scholarship fund. This year the auction will take place during the Mining & Exploration Division Luncheon at the SME Annual Conference & Expo 2018 in Minneapolis, Minnesota on Wednesday, February 28, 2018. We encourage you to attend both the Annual Meeting and the M&E Division Luncheon. All proceeds <g class="gr_ gr_92 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Grammar multiReplace" id="92" data-gr-id="92">of</g> the auction (yes, 100%!) will be deposited into our Scholarship Endowment Fund.

Full acknowledgment of all contributions will be made during the Division Luncheon.
Luncheon Table Sponsors
M&E is also offering M&E Division members the opportunity to sponsor tables at the annual division luncheon (Wednesday, February 28, 2018– Minneapolis Convention Center – Minneapolis, Minnesota). Table sponsorships are $1,000 and provide the following benefits:
- Reserved table of 10 (including "Reserved" sign with logo) at M&E Luncheon. Having a reserved table provides you with an opportunity to fill the table with your organization's employees, vendors, customers, and/or students you are recruiting to join your organization.
