  • 1.  Firing Floatation Concentrate and Pouring a Dori

I have not tried this but have been very curious.  Our operation is in Mexico.  We are currently running a Merrill Crowe Refining process for Gold and Silver, and it looks like we will need to get a Floatation plant at our new site due to distance and freight cost.   Once we have produced the concentrate, would it be practical to just fire the concentrate and pour a Dori Bar.  Would an XRF be able to detect the precious metals around the Copper, Zinc etc that the Dori would contain?
    Thank you
    Jack

I am a little confused. Are you asking about smelting a flotation concentrate at your mine?
