Speaker: Ron Parratt, “An Update on Exploration Activity in Nevada.”
Ronald L. Parratt is the Executive Chairman of Renaissance Gold Inc., a Nevada focused precious metals exploration company headquartered in Reno, Nevada. Mr. Parratt has over 30 years of exploration experience including 19 years with Santa Fe Pacific Gold Corp., 5 years with Homestake Mining Company and 8 years with AuEx Ventures. Mr. Parratt is a member of the Advisory Board for the Mackay School of Earth Sciences & Engineering, a Fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists and a member of several other professional organizations. He is a registered Professional Geologist in California and Wyoming and a Certified Professional Geologist of the American Institute of Professional Geologists. Mr. Parratt holds a Bachelor of Science in Geochemistry and a Master of Science in Economic Geology both from Purdue University.
