Terry Rigoni has been with Freeport McMoRan since the early 1990 when it was still Cyprus management. He started as the front line supervisor at Chino mine. He spent the following 10 years doing several different jobs below the Mine Manager position including some special projects. After working at Chino, he worked as the Engineering Manager at El Abra in South America followed by a 4 year assignment at Cerro Verde as the Mine Manager and assisting with Cerro Verde’s first mill expansion. After Cerro Verde, he joined Bagdad as Mine Manager for a few years then moved to Morenci as General Manager for 2 years. For the last 3 years, he has worked at Bagdad as the General Manager.
