Tailings and Mine Waste Conference

The Tailings and Mine Waste (TMW) Conference series began in 1978 and is one of the most respected and established mining conferences in the world. This Conference is hosted annually through Colorado State University in conjunction with the Norman B. Keevil Institute of Mining Engineering at the University of British Columbia and the University of Alberta.

Each year, TMW brings together engineers, scientists, regulators, and industry leaders to advance best practices in geotechnical, environmental, and regulatory topics related to tailings and mine waste management.
