Nominations are open for all positions, including Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, and Outreach Officer. Nominees must have served previously as a section officer to serve as Chair.

We are soliciting for a total of eight technical sessions and we will post more detailed information as the conference approaches.
Henry Krumb Lecture Series
We are proud to host Dr. Aaron Noble as our 2019 Conference Henry Krumb Lecturer. He is an Associate Professor in the Mining and Minerals Engineering Department at Virginia Tech and the Associate Director for the Center for Advance Separation Technologies (CAST). His instruction and research are in the general areas of mineral processing, process economics, and mine pollution control.
SME helps bring outstanding speakers to the Local Sections through the Henry Krumb Lecture Series. The program is offered to SME sections to enhance their appreciation and understanding of important new methods and technologies. Lecturers are selected from the professionals who present technical papers at the SME Annual Conference & Expo (ACE). The Krumb Lecture Series is administered by SME and is partially funded by a grant from the Seeley W. Mudd Memorial Fund.
Professional Development Hour Credits
A signed Certificate of Attendance will be provided to all attendees upon request. Please keep a copy of the agenda, noting sessions you attended, along with this certificate as your documentation for professional education requirements. Agendas will be printed and available at registration.
