Tobetter predict these costs a model was developed to determine the causeand effect of various parameters such as temperature, concentration, bubble size, and current density on electrowinning performance. Straightcathodes and various defects were studied such as nodules, bent andtilted cathodes. Experiments were conducted to validate the model.Full-scale simulations were also compared to historic data. Theobjective of this work is to provide operators with a modeling tool thatquantifies the impacts of operational settings on electrowinningperformance and costs.Date:January 19, 2017Time:Social Hour—6:00 to 7:00Dinner—7:00 to 7:30Presentation—7:30 to 8:30Place:FLSmidth7158 S FLSmidth DriveMidvale, UT 84047-5559Please park in the West parking lot and enter through theatrium door between the new and old buildings.Google Map:http://goo.gl/maps/rKx3SPrice:Members and Guests $20.00Students $5.00RSVP:E-mail: rsvp@sme-utah.com------------------------------
