January meeting will be Thursday, January 27, 6:30 pm (Bar opens at 6 pm) at Andre's South at 4525 Telegraph Road. (A hop and a skip from I-255)
The speaker for the evening will be Greg Sutton, discussing the Missouri Cobalt development project located at the former Madison Mine in Fredericktown, MO.
As the demand for electrification of vehicles increases, so does the demand for rechargeable battery technologies. Electric vehicles are currently powered by a battery that uses Cobalt. Missouri is one of the few states that can boast a source of Cobalt Minerals. Come hear how this new project is progressing from the General Manager of Mining Operations, Greg Sutton, MBA, QP.
