Dear St. Louis Section members,
As with many other groups, events, functions, etc. the health and safety of our members is our highest priority at this time. We have been advised by SME headquarters to consider suspending face-to-face meetings for a short time. In keeping with the spirit of eliminating social gatherings and reducing in-person contact, we are
canceling our April 2, 2020, Vendor Night. As disappointing as this is, we just don't want to jeopardize anyone's health.
The officers are investigating the possibility of offering an
online technical meeting in the near future to fulfill our mission of providing our members with opportunities for continued education and technical development. More on this as it develops!
In the meantime, take care of yourselves, wash those hands, don't ignore potential symptoms, and be kind to those you do have contact with. We are all having to re-adjust to life with a pandemic. Stay healthy and we hope to see you when things improve!
