Hi All -
We are excited to announce we will be adding a virtual optional to our monthly meetings via Microsoft Teams. You can find the link to the virtual meeting option in the meeting invite. This link will be updated each month.
General notes regarding this option:
· Follow the instructions to use the "Join" link or inputting the meeting code provided with each month's invitation.
· The basic equipment requirements are a video screen so you can see slides and a speaker to permit you to hear the presenter and questions from the audience.
o A microphone is suggested so that you can ask your own questions should you choose.
§ We will default to muted microphones to minimize unintended distractions, so you will need to unmute should you have questions.
· You are not required to use a video camera, but we would like to know your name, so we have a better idea of who is participating, numbers of virtual participants, etc.
o This will enable us to improve the process as we go forward and help us make better decisions about future meetings.
· Unfortunately, there is only one camera, which is set up for conference calls, hence it faces the audience, not the presenter.
o However, tests show that hearing the presenter and the audience will not be a problem.
