Hi All - The UMA is looking for volunteers next week to help at STEM Fest - please see details below on the event/how you can help:
STEM Fest is an interactive career fair for K-12 students in Utah. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Over 13,000 students participate in this annual event.
Utah Mining Association has a booth where we talk about the value of mining and future career opportunities in the industry. Students can learn about Utah minerals and match each one to every-day items. We are also grateful to Komatsu for bringing a large front loader for the students to see and explore!
We are excited to participate in this wonderful event again. If you are able to volunteer at our booth for a few hours, please fill out the form linked below.
