    MPD Student Poster Contest: Enter by Dec. 15 to Win $125-$1,000 and an MPD Luncheon Ticket! 

    (Note the new deadline of Dec. 15 to provide more time for you for logistics and preparation.)

    The 15th annual Mineral & Metallurgical Processing Division (MPD) Student Poster Contest will be held Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2025, during the MINEXCHANGE 2025 SME Annual Conference & Expo in Denver, CO. This is an excellent opportunity for graduate and undergraduate students to present their research in a fun environment and to network with industry professionals. Your research should be related in some way to mineral and metallurgical processing.

    Prizes are $1,000 for 1st, $500 for 2nd, and $200 each for 3rd-7th places for graduates; and $1,000 for 1st, $500 for 2nd, and $250 for 3rd places for undergraduates. Non-placing contestants (main author only) will each receive $125, and all main authors will receive a complimentary ticket each to the MPD Luncheon.

    This year's Chair of the MPD Student Poster Contest Committee is Michael Spicher and Vice Chair is Wencai Zhang. Judges will include Jordan Rutledge and Adam House.
