The 96th Annual Meeting of the SME Minnesota Section is just two weeks away!
The MN Section Chair, along with my SME Board Vice Chair, Kurt Doran, and Past Chair, Katrina Davis, are asking YOU for your nomination(s) for this year's Mining Professional of the Year! On April 16, in Duluth, we will award the Minnesota Section's "Mining Professional of the Year" award at the closing plenary of the SME Minnesota Section Meeting in Duluth, Minnesota.
We offer you the opportunity to nominate individuals you believe have gone above and beyond for the mining industry in Minnesota – those professionals who consistently have that magical combination of leadership and technical skills. All submittals will be kept confidential and reviewed by a panel of three of your MN SME Board members.
Please let us know who you are nominating and why they deserve the award by the end of the day on April 3, 2024. A short description of a few sentences or less is all we ask of you in nominating a Minnesota mining professional you believe deserves this honor.
