Minnesota SME Section

SME Minnesota is now accepting nominations for the Mining Professional of the Year Award.
This award honors an exceptional individual who has made a meaningful impact on Minnesota's mining industry through their expertise, leadership, and dedication. We encourage you to take a moment to reflect on someone who has made a significant contribution to our industry and submit a nomination on their behalf. Nominations may be brief and should highlight the individual's key contributions and relevant work history.

Please submit nominations by March 24, 2025, to mnsectionsme@gmail.com.

Nominees do not need to be SME members, though membership will be considered.

All nominations will be kept confidential and reviewed by the SME Minnesota Section Chair, Vice Chair, and Past Chair.

Winner will be announced at the opening plenary of the SME Minnesota conference on April 15, 2026.
