Hello Carolina Section,
I hope that everyone is in good health as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to transcend throughout the country. In order to get through this time, we must all do our part to continue with social distancing and proper hygiene related practices.
Many states are starting to ease restrictions of non-essential businesses allowing residents to return to restaurants, salons, gyms, etc. Before we plan to re-schedule the annual meeting we had initially planned for today April 24th 2020, we will be monitoring the public's health related to eased restrictions to determine if it is safe to plan for another meeting this year. The postponed meeting was to be scheduled for sometime in the fall, but that is to be determined.
I was initially planning on presenting a group survey at this year's technical meeting related to the structure of the section and the needs of the members. Instead, I have provided links to two surveys below:
