  • CALL FOR PAPERS - 15th North American Mine Ventilation Symposium

    June 20th to June 24th, 2015. The Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center. CALL FOR PAPERS The planning committee of the 15th North American Mine Ventilation Symposium cordially invites papers from professionals in all areas of mine ventilation including: industry, academia, government, and education. All papers will be peer reviewed by at least two reviewers. Symposium topics include, but are not limited to: Diesel Emissions Control and Measurement Dust Control Economics Heat and Humidity Mine Fans Mine Fires and Emergency Response Mine Gases Monitoring and VOD Numerical Modeling Occupational Health Stoppings and Seals Spontaneous Combustion Tunnel Ventilation Planning and Design Ventilation Education Ventilation en Español Ventilation Planning Ventilation Survey Techniques Ventilation Planning ABSTRACT SUBMISSION Abstracts should be submitted as a word document, and include authors names, affiliation, and order; the abstract, NOT to exceed 400 words; and the corresponding author’s contact information. Please submit abstracts to namvs2015@vt.edu by November 16th, 2014.
