State of Hockey

To jump start the semester and have some fun together after a long winter break, the Iron Range Engineering SME chapter sent its student members to a Minnesota Wild game on January 16th, 2014.  Other students and two faculty members also attended the event as chaperones.  Before the game, the group enjoyed some dining unique to the area, including gourmet wings and Mongolian BBQ.  After a sluggish start, the Wild picked up the intensity and ultimately prevailed, beating Edmonton 4-1.  Everyone had a good time, despite not getting back to the range until 2:00 AM.

That was an excellent game! Cheers to you all for making it there, braving the food and late hours.

Mike, we love hearing about your chapter activities! Especially the part with Mongolian BBQ, my all-time favorite food. ;-)
