The National Mining Hall of Fame & Museum is pleased to be inducting five outstanding individuals into the National Mining Hall of Fame and presenting the Prazen Award at its 28th Annual Induction Banquet, October 23rd, 2015 at the Omni William Penn Hotel in Pittsburgh, PA.

I’d like to extend a special invitation and encourage you to join the NMHFM in honoring these accomplished individuals: TS Ary, Frank F Aplan, Ralph E Bailey, John Campbell Greenway, Edward Steidle, and The Powell River Project Research & Education Center. They are to be inducted into the only federally chartered National Mining Hall of Fame.   This year’s event coincides with the SME/PCMIA Joint Venture meeting and promises to be a lively wrap up to the convention.  Mike Korb will be the master of ceremonies and this year, especially for this location and this venue, we have added a Miner’s Ball to top off the evening.

This prestigious gala event supports the efforts of the only federally chartered National Mining Hall of Fame & Museum whose mission is to “tell the story of mining, its people, and its importance to the American public.”   Join your colleagues in celebrating the mineral and mining industry and those individuals who have significantly advanced America’s quality of life through their contributions in the areas of education, workplace safety, technology, environmental stewardship, reclamation, policy, and scientific discovery.

Please take a moment to RSVP now by contacting Francine Webber at 719-486-1229.
