The Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration Inc. (SME) is pleased to sponsor its Professional Engineer Exam Review Course, September 29 – October 3, at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel. The purpose of the review course is to provide an overall assessment of the subjects that will be covered in the licensure exam in October and has been designed to help candidates understand key concepts and applications.
Engineers know that passing the P.E. Exam will solidify their engineering credentials and demonstrate their expertise to the general public. P.E. licensure is one way of demonstrating the credibility of the engineer's work. Professionals who need a way to prepare for the mining/mineral processing P.E. exam will find this review course both useful and comprehensive.
The P.E. Review Course is a 5-day course covering the following examination subject areas: • Exploration • Mine Planning and Operations • Environment and Reclamation • Mineral Processing
Taught by college professors from The Pennsylvania State University, the University of British Columbia, West Virginia University and the Colorado School of Mines, the course will include: • Course Notes • Certificate Upon Completion • 35 Professional Development Hours (PDH) • Study Guide for the Professional Licensure of Mining and Mineral Processing Engineers
