Nominations for the SME Distinguished Member award are Nominations are due on annually on December 1. However, since December 1 is a Saturday this year, we are extending the deadline until Monday, December 3. Any completed nominations received by that deadline will be considered and will be active for a period of three years. Candidates must have been members of SME for at least 15 years and must have demonstrated significant and sustained contributions to the minerals industry and to SME.
