Center for Underground to Design, Demonstrate Rapid Tunneling Technology
The Center for Underground at Colorado School of Mines recently was awarded a major contract from the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) to design and demonstrate rapid tunneling technology.


Breakthrough at DC Water's Northeast Boundary Tunnel
The tunnel boring machine (TBM) named Chris, reached a milestone in April when it broke through a wall of concrete at the Northeast Boundary Tunnel (NEBT) environmental protection project in Washington, D.C.

Harvey Parker passed away with his wife Karen and daughter Erica at his side. Throughout a two-year battle with cancer, Harvey’s outlook and spirit were positive, and he continued to work and contribute to the industry.
