WTC 2016 to be held in conjunction with the North American Tunneling Conference (NAT)

Today at the 2013 World Tunnel Congress and the 39th General Assembly of the International Tunneling and Underground Space Association in Geneva, Switzerland, the United States won the bid to host the World Tunneling Congress in 2016 in San Francisco, CA.  Jeff Petersen, chair of SME’s Underground Construction Association, provided the presentation on June 2 and UCA vice chair Bill Edgerton accepted the bid at the International Tunneling Association’ s Executive Council Meeting.  WTC 2016 will be held in conjunction with the North American Tunneling conference.
