This review course will aid individuals preparing for the mining/mineral processing professional engineer (P.E.) examination.

P.E. Registration is one way of demonstrating the credibility of the engineer’s work. It is the only legal way for an engineer to offer mining/mineral engineering services to the general public.

The P.E. examination is open book and given in two 4-hour sessions consisting of 40 multiple-choice questions each. This 5-day course will cover the following examination subject areas:

  • Exploration (10 questions)
  • Mine Planning and Operations (32 questions)
  • Environmental and Reclamation (14 questions)
  • Mineral Processing (24 questions)

The course begins at 8:00 am each day.

Registration fees include: morning and afternoon coffee breaks, lunch, course notes, Study Guide for the Professional Licensure of Mining and Mineral Processing Engineers, Seventh Edition, certificate upon completion, and 35 Professional Development Hours, PDH.
