To maintain sustainability, broaden our participation by collaborating with SME sections and other divisions, and continue to grow our influence in exploration and mining of industrial minerals and aggregates. 

  i) Further the arts and sciences involved in the exploration, production, and use of industrial minerals & aggregates
 ii) Enable professinal development of industrial mineral and aggregate industry practitioners,
iii) Promote exchange of information and ideas through presentation, publication and discussion of professional papers.
