    Hello SME Outreach Resources community group,

    Here are some action items from the last call:

    1. Review resources at mineralseducationcoalition.org/sme-outreach-resources
      1. Recognition section of site
        1. 2015 Award winners announced at SME ACE
        2. 2016 nominations due by June 1, annually
        3. Self-nominate or nominate others!
    2. Attend monthly conference calls – you will receive invitations via SME-O-R community group
    3. Participate in conversations and review content at SME Outreach Resources Community Group (http://community.smenet.org/home)
    4. Like/Follow/Subscribe to us on Social Media: MEC Facebook/Twitter/YouTube
    5. Invite the new leadership of your section or another SME member to SME Outreach Resources!
    6. Attend MEC events at SME ACE
      1. MEC booth @ Conference Cafe

      2. Monday, February 22, 2 – 5 PM
        MEC Technical Session: SME Sections Sharing Success: Changing the Public Perception of Mining
        Convention Center - 131 C

      3. Wednesday, February 24, 1 – 4 pm
        MEC Committee Meeting: Open to all SME members
        Convention Center - Room 227 ABC
