Colorado Section SME meeting with be held at the Wynkoop Brewing Company 1634 18th St, Denver on October 19th beginning at 11:30am with lunch at noon. Lawrence Clark will be speaking from 12:30pm to 1:00pm on "Building the Business: From Concept to Commercialization". Today's mining industry needs technology to stay competitive. This talk will cover some important aspects of building the business that, while not technically complex, escape some entrepreneurs.

Mr. Clark worked for Newmont Mining for 17 years running the Mining Technology group and his career has spanned mine operations, construction, consulting, technical sales, and private equity.
