School of Mines Chemical Engineering Undergraduate Research Poster Session July 31

  
Dr. Matthew Liberatore, at the Colorado School of Mines is running a summer program sponsored by the National Science Foundation called a Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU).  This year they have 15 students from 14 different universities and 2 countries.  The program lasts 10 weeks and concludes with a poster session where the students present their projects.

Event details: The students, who are majoring in chemical engineering or chemistry, will present their research findings broadly related to polymer science and engineering during the poster session.  Additional undergraduates will also be participating the poster session on topics related to water and renewable energy.  The event is free (although parking on campus has a small fee).  We would welcome local section members to come and discuss the research with the students.  We are also looking for a number of judges to help determine best poster awards.
