Deep sea mining

The deep ocean , the largest component of our biodiversity has a lot of  un extracted energy resources. Advancements in technologies has enabled us to reach these. The growth of the demands of the resources available on the earth has driven our minds to think how to extract minerals from deep inside the earth. Ranging from precious metals to the rare earths, the bed beneath the blue contains a wide range of important minerals. Though we only have got the license for the first ever deep sea mining operations, but it should grow up as a source of minerals and fossils. It should be kept in mind that whatever we mine, how much we do mine, it should not create damage to the flora and fauna of the ocean.
Hope it brings back the mining boom in a new way.
