MN Wild Game

The SME students from Iron Range Engineering took a much needed break on October 30, 2014 by attending the Minnesota Wild game at the Excel Energy Center. Other students from IRE, along with three faculty members, were also invited to attend the game as well. Before arriving at the game, some of the students took part in enjoying wings at a unique local restaurant.

The Wild had a slow start to the game that night by trailing the San Jose Sharks 2-1. The Wild tied the game up during the third period and finally won in a shoot-out against the Sharks. Everyone from IRE had a great time at the game, even though they didn’t get back to the Range until 2 AM.
